1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using the services provided by 6ix Trails Co., you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement. If you do not agree to abide by the above, please do not use this service. These Terms of Service govern your use of our guided hiking tours, nature excursions, and related services around Toronto and surrounding regions.

2. Service Description

6ix Trails Co. provides professional guided hiking tours and nature excursions in the Toronto area and surrounding regions. Our services include:

• Small group guided hiking experiences
• Nature education and eco-conscious travel programs
• Professional safety supervision and wilderness guidance
• Customized private tours and corporate team building activities
• Seasonal outdoor adventures and photography tours

All tours are conducted with professional safety standards and environmental consciousness as our primary focus.

3. Booking and Payment Terms

Bookings for tours must be made in advance through our official channels. Payment is required to secure your reservation. We accept various payment methods as indicated during the booking process. Pricing is subject to change based on seasonal availability, group size, and specific tour requirements.

Full payment is due at the time of booking unless otherwise specified. Group discounts and corporate rates are available upon request. Special pricing may apply for extended tours, custom itineraries, or premium experience packages.

4. Cancellation and Refund Policy

Cancellations made 48 hours or more before the scheduled tour date are eligible for a full refund. Cancellations made within 48 hours of the tour date may be subject to a cancellation fee. In case of weather-related cancellations initiated by 6ix Trails Co., participants will receive a full refund or the option to reschedule.

We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule tours due to severe weather conditions, safety concerns, or insufficient participant numbers. In such cases, we will provide alternative dates or issue full refunds to affected participants.

5. Participant Requirements and Safety

Participants must meet minimum fitness requirements for their selected tour level. All participants must complete a health and safety waiver before participating in any tour. Participants are required to follow all safety instructions provided by our professional guides.

Participants must disclose any medical conditions, physical limitations, or medications that could affect their ability to participate safely. Appropriate outdoor gear and clothing are required, and equipment recommendations will be provided upon booking confirmation.

6. Liability and Risk Acknowledgment

Outdoor activities involve inherent risks. While 6ix Trails Co. maintains professional safety standards and carries appropriate insurance, participants acknowledge and assume certain risks associated with outdoor activities. Participants agree to release 6ix Trails Co. from liability for injuries or damages that may occur during tour activities.

Our professional guides are trained in wilderness first aid and emergency response. However, participants are encouraged to maintain their own travel and health insurance coverage for additional protection during outdoor activities.

7. Environmental Responsibility

As an eco-conscious tour operator, 6ix Trails Co. and all participants are committed to Leave No Trace principles. Participants must respect wildlife, stay on designated trails, and follow all environmental guidelines provided by our guides.

We promote sustainable tourism practices and environmental education. Participants are expected to contribute to conservation efforts by following eco-friendly practices during tours and respecting the natural environments we visit.

8. Photography and Media Use

6ix Trails Co. may take photographs and videos during tours for promotional and marketing purposes. By participating in our tours, you consent to the use of your image in our marketing materials unless you specifically opt out in writing.

Participants are welcome to take their own photographs during tours, provided they respect the privacy of other participants and follow any photography guidelines provided by guides in sensitive environmental areas.

9. Conduct and Behavior

All participants must conduct themselves in a respectful and appropriate manner during tours. Disruptive behavior, non-compliance with safety instructions, or conduct that compromises the safety or enjoyment of other participants may result in removal from the tour without refund.

Alcohol consumption is not permitted during tours. Participants under the influence of alcohol or illegal substances will not be permitted to participate and will forfeit any fees paid.

10. Intellectual Property

All content provided by 6ix Trails Co., including but not limited to tour itineraries, educational materials, route information, and proprietary wilderness knowledge, remains the intellectual property of 6ix Trails Co. and may not be reproduced or distributed without written permission.

11. Privacy and Data Protection

Your privacy is important to us. Information collected during the booking process and tour participation is handled according to our Privacy Policy. We collect only necessary information for tour safety, communication, and service improvement purposes.

12. Modifications to Terms

6ix Trails Co. reserves the right to modify these terms of service at any time. Changes will be posted on our website and will take effect immediately upon posting. Continued use of our services after changes have been posted constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.
